Observation After Upgrading From M10 Ball Joints to M12 Ball Joints on Our 2020 Connect Part II
Just got back from a long trip to PA's apple country and the van did very well on some smooth and rough roads. But as expected I feel that the softer setting on the sway bar needs to be improved and the links needs to be moved to the firmest setting or the closest hole to the solid of the bar. This will mean having to drill out the second hole which should happen next weekend.
Just to show others what we're referring to.. here's a pic of the Hardrace sway bar with the 2 adjustment holes.
Again we started out with the farthest hole or the softern/normal setting. Now it's time to goto the firmer setting hole which the arrow is pointing too. This means having to take the already M10 hole and enlarging it to M12 using a 15/32nd drill bit.
One thing I've noticed but on a different note, it's time to change the sparkplugs and with 100K just around the corner, time to drain and fill the transmission. All this should take place between now and the first or second week in Oct as we have a track date. Some time around the 26th we'll be driving to Ohio (summit racing) for that helmet.
