Moral Dilemma About My Audience. WWYD?
So I have what I define to be an issue. I have a viewer that seemingly has dark humor, and they've been around for approximately a year. I mention this because during this year I had mental stresses & wound up requiring medication to feel better. Normal. Like. No longer suicidal & whatnot.
This particular viewer only mentioned it once or twice. But in each instance they've brought up that " I was more entertaining when I wasn't medicated" which is weird because I seriously 100% have no difference in personality. All the meds did was rebalance me. Their latest comment was "True artists suffer, the moment you are happy and content you are dead as an entertainer".
So my question is. What should I do? Personally i'm disgusted in general, but am trying to accept that this is just one of those agree to disagree moments. But at the same time it KINDA just feels like this viewer is practically hoping for me to be mentally unhealthy? It just feels weird to have a viewer that wishes you to be unwell ya know?
Would you all hide them from your channel? I am a small creator, and in my tight community i'd like to keep it happy and healthy. I delete comment replies when people start getting hostile towards each other if I see it, I try to remind everyone in community posts we're all friends here, etc. I know it's just one viewer, and it's not like they are commenting this on EVERY video. But I simultaneously believe they should be able to have their own opinion heard, but at the same time, again. It's so weird to have someone wishing me unwell just because it changes their view on me being entertaining? It just seems unhealthy.
Any foresight would be wonderful.
