IWTL How to do stuff but not in a dumb manner?

So i tend to overthink things, rely on ai tools when something is complex, or do something dumb like that. I just want to do things that interest me without regretting my actions? I also have kind of a spending problem im trying to fix. I tend to think all my ideas are dumb or am told something calmer by parents.
