im a really new fan, and im looking for suggestions on what to listen to/look at etc first

hey! as with any fandom i know people tend to get a bit upset when something new comes out (like the fortnite drop) and it causes a lot of new fans to come in, which i understand, but i just politely ask that people remain respectful!!

ive heard a few gorillaz songs in the past 5 years, but never really got into them. im starting to really take an interest in the band and im looking for suggestions on what music videos/songs/albums to look at first?

also what do the phases mean? ive heard people reference things like noodle phase 1 or phase 3 etc but im confused

feel free to tell me anything you think i should know or any lore, i know a little but please share by all means!

please be respectful though!! im genuinely trying to get into this so i just politely ask that people dont attack me (even though I understand your frustration completely)
