Scared about hyperopia shift I have myopia is gp being dismissive?

NSFWGeneral Question/Discussion

Hi, I'm a female, on my twenties, normal weight and currently not taking medication. I had a routine appointment with the gp that included a vision check up with a mycroscope like machine while I was using contact lenses for myopia and astigmatism. I've been using for about a year the same contact lenses and not taking them out, I know it's not supposed. He said I have hyperopia on the left eye and prescribed an optometry appointment that it's on months. I'm on a panic loop because I read that unilateral hyperopia shift it's possibly for brain cancer and I'm having anxiety. I had an undereye spasm on the other eye for months and it went away but now it's been on the left undereye for months I don't feel it but it spasms when speaking or moving the face on certain ways. The gp said it's anxiety. I went to the gp again to ask for a ct scan but he refused. Is the gp being dismissive? Is it safe to wait? Any idea?
