I dreamed my former colleague kissed me — what could that mean?

Hello Reddit, I want to share a weird dream I had and see if anyone can explain it.

I used to work with a colleague who showed me around when I was new. We got along well and joked a lot, even though we’re very different. I have to say he is not single and not my type, although he is really pretty. I even questioned if I had romantic feelings for him, since I usually don’t get close with men, but that just wasn’t the case. He was open with everyone, so I guess I simply felt more comfortable with him. We don’t work together anymore and we don’t have much contact. I had never dreamed of him before and we haven’t seen each other in a while.

Two days ago, right before my grandma woke me up, I briefly dreamed about him. We were sitting next to each other (not in the office if I remember correctly ), and he asked if I liked anyone. I said no. He asked if I had ever liked anyone, or ever loved anyone, and I kept saying no. Then he looked at me like he was thinking, and suddenly kissed me. It was just a peck, but we stayed connected for a longer moment. When we pulled apart, I looked confused and he looked like he was trying to read me. Right then, my grandma woke me up.

Since then, every night when I’m about to fall asleep, the image of his face at the end keeps coming back to me. It feels strange because I hadn’t thought about him since we stopped working together. Has anyone else experienced something like this? What could it mean?
