Local Tuya Help

Hi all. So I have a new ceiling fan that came with a Tuya based fan controller. It works with the Tuya integration but I don't like how it integrates. So I wanted to use Local Tuya, for two reasons, but for some reason, although my other Local Tuya device shows up and still works (also a fan) the new device does not. Knowing I could manually enter the PIDs I went through the process of finding each id number for each function like usual.and entered them into the Local Tuya integration. I then went through the process of setting up the local Tuya integration for this device. Everything seemed like it would work only to find that it couldn't seem to control the fan. I went through and made sure all the keys and codes were correct, of course the device shows in the developer site, but I could not get it to work. It has been about a week or more since I did this so any specific errors I cannot remember.

So my question is: is anyone else having a hard time getting their Tuya devices working through the Local Tuya integration? If so, were you able to solve it and if so how. If no one else is having this issue what should my next step be?
