Trip in Jan

I'm looking to travel in Jan with my wife and have a few places in mind, but was wondering if anyone knows a site or recommends a good off best gems 7 day itinerary that does include the bridge, the land etc.

I'm also wondering fitting to Guwahati is it recommended to rent a car or rent a cab?
