I procrastinated for three years in my employment and got away with it.
I used to work for a recruitment agency. They were already sorted with enough recruiters to keep the business steady, and my job was to payroll them, and get new business. I’m in the UK, we have the talking clock you can call to see what the correct time is. “At the third stroke, the time sponsored by accurate is….” So I rang that constantly and pretended to speak to businesses and no one ever knew. I even glued a £1 outside the window to entertain me watching people trying to get this coin! I left when I had children. Anyway. That was 9 years ago. None ever knew, or knows (I hope). I got away with it, and do I feel bad? Nope, I enjoyed doing something other than what I was told.
