Retain AVM view memory on Sealion 7

We just got a BYD Sealion 7 and I'm loving the AVM view but I don't believe it saves the last used view and reverts back to the default.

I think it always opens up in 2D with the front facing camera. This is not as useful to me because I'm staring out the front windscreen already. I usually change it to the back window since I might want to see the back rego plate, or who's in the car behind, or what's in general behind me (since the window out the back is quite small).

So it's be great to lock in a specific view and save it. Does this happen for anyone else? Anyone found a way to save it?
