The man reminds me of Woody Allen's character in Zelig - A man who tried desperately to conform to what ever society dictates at any given time is the zeitgeist. Like Zelig, Hilton metaphorically shapeshifts to suit whatever the latest headlines are to try and gain attention, relevance and acceptance.

The truth of the matter is of course he has nothing under the hood. He's an empty vessel, a shell bereft of opinion, critical thinking abilities, empathy, talent, curiosity or offering anything anyone could ever want, even for free, let alone would actually pay for.

His latest Patreon post (Just AUS$12, folks!) is a threatening a podcast on his make-believe journey to sobriety. He says he's strangely unmotivated at the moment and is troubled by this as he is someone who always follows through on their promises. Sure, Jan.

Fact is, without social media (which I'm personally more and more increasingly convinced is little more than a toxic cesspit of hate and division), he'd be living on the street, pushing a shopping trolley, and sleeping in a cardboard box, because his only talent - hate - in the real world where it matters - has no lasting cachet, monetarily or morally.
