When going no-contact was a delayed event
It's hard to believe that it's now been over 17 years since it ended. I kept in contact with this person as we shared two dogs. The dogs have since passed. I moved across the country a decade ago and ever since I did that, the level of passive aggressiveness in emails and actions ramped up. It was with a heavy heart a three years ago that I decided to go no-contact with this person. It wasn't for a power trip, but to save my own sanity of getting sucked back in.
It was only that by going no contact that I really knew where I stood, radio silence outside a lame hoover attempt two and half years later by this person. I figure all I was in that decade was a sounding board for her bragging. I'm not on any social media like IG or FB. It took a lot not to respond to that hoover attempt which was written with the sanitization of a corporate boiler plate. I miss the dogs, her not at all. Don't provide gosip about yourself as content for someone else's entertainment. I regret sharing with this person in the years since the breakup.
Thanks for reading my ramblings
