Ok first of all yes I did take classes in this very particular topic. It’s probably a very special interest of mine. Stop thinking about art as what you see on the face value. Write about it in the very moment how this applies to your life. Those artsy films that don’t make sense to you is because it’s supposed to act as a container for your lived experiences. It’s a group of metaphors that mean something when the time comes. Life doesn’t have to be so devoid of meaning, just look at the hidden subtleties of what you consume.
