Occasional issues after power outage

Heya. I’ve got the apex pro with smart paddle setup and love it, but every now and then when the power goes out the desk becomes “stuck” in a narrow height range until I reset the paddle.

Unfortunately, the power goes out a fair amount where I live due to thunderstorms and I have to move the items under the desk out of the way to reset the paddle. I have my PC and the desk plugged into a 2880 joule surge protector so I don’t think any power surges have compromised the electronics or anything.

This isn’t a huge deal honestly but it’s still mildly annoying to have to fix it every couple months. Any ideas what could be causing this or how to avoid it? Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?

PS this isn’t a dig at the desk or deskhaus in general, it’s literally the best standing desk I’ve ever used (and I’ve used a lot of them) plus their customer service is amazing. So yeah, keep that shit up!
