How do we genuinely feel about archiving Unus Annus?

Hello! I am currently 76 episodes deep into my Unus Annus viewing. Up to this point there have been multiple mentions of the purpose of the project, and how once it’s gone, it’s gone forever. But with the Archives this purpose is no longer relevant. I was wondering how people feel about this (for lack of a better term) bastardization of the message of Unus Annus

As I mentioned earlier I am currently watching the entire series, having only seen a few episodes during its original run. Do not take this as me talking negatively about archiving, I just want to participate in a discussion on this topic.
