Going into their own room…

My LO is 6 months old, which means he can now go into his own room into his cot rather than his crib which is next to our bed.

The thought of it breaks my heart. Having him by my side is something that feels right and brings me comfort. I still wake up multiple times in the night just to peer over at him to see if he’s ok.

I’m not ready for him to go into his own room. I’m yet to have this conversation with my Husband.

Did anyone else feel this way? He is starting to out grow his crib now… almost feeling as though I should buy a cot to place in our room for a little longer.
