How do I portray Native American beliefs

I am a newish dm and have finally made the plunge of creating a home brew world and got inspired by pointy hats sun goddess and moon god.

How they work is by having 3 aspects each The suns being the sunrise (the start or growth of something), the zenith (the continuation and continued life of something), the sunset (the end of something it’s conclusion). The moon has the waxing (the start of change the beginning of new seasons or ideas), the full (constant change like the winds of magic, the seas, or weather things in constant change), the waning (the end of change sleeping love craftsmanship).

Now I do not claim to know Native American religion nor do I want to mock it but I want a religion that sees the love in both of the gods and sees them in everything and the most analogous religions I can think of is Native American religion while this is also fantasy and will be different but the idea of finding gods imbued in all living things sounds interesting and how do I explore that with my players tastefully especially with the fact of that you can contact the gods in my world with clerics so we know theirs just the two gods it’s not a implied they know this. And yes their people who don’t people praying to darker not real gods and stuff like that with atheists too.
