The Trix in Season 5

As we've all noticed by now, the Season 5 episode "The Spill" reveals that the Trix have been imprisoned in the dungeons of Andros for some time. Unfortunately, trying to figure out when they would have originally been locked down there in canon is a headache and a half. (Gotta love the Winx Club timeline amirite...)

The most logical conclusion is that they would have been locked down there after Season 3, since they were accomplices to Valtor. But for one, they were taken to Lightrock Monastery at the end of Season 3 (not that SOTLK cares about that). And for two, if Magical Adventure is canon, they clearly escaped whatever prison they were in between Seasons 3 and 5 anyway, meaning they would have been either recaptured by Andros authorities or arrested for a second unknown crime on Andros. Going into hiding and laying low would have been a much safer, much smarter option than...whatever they would have did to end up in Andros' dungeons. I mean come on, they had to have learn some self-preservation skils by now.

To the rewriters out there who want to incorporate Season 5's overarchnig storyline, I suggest not having the Trix appear at the end of SOTLK and pretending Magical Adventure doesn't exist, so you can just have them be imprisoned for the Valtor incident. It will make it easier on yourselves, trust me.
