Game feels unplayable as lizardmen thanks to dumb diplomacy and cheating ai

This is in regards to mortal empires. I get the economic disadvantage, its to make battles harder and i tend to basically always win at a disadvantage. The diplomacy tends to ruin the game though regardless of who i play as the lizardmen.

I play tehenuin (who feels nerfed with how rare it is to get spawn resources when before i could do sacrifices to spawn units i needed then and there and now its not letting me due to low spawn pool, not sure if bug or thats how the update works). I would dominated cheating skaven spamming armies at me, but that would allow the jade kingdom to take over, ally with the empire hunter faction in the jungle, which makes them hate me (war if we arent trading early on) which in turn makes all their allies hate me even if i trade with all order factions there only. The high elves at the bottom of the continent were fine and the jade kingdom just stayed mad without breaking the treaty, but all the skaven factions ignored everyone else and crossed the sea to gang up on me with the empire on my continent which got really annoying and even the dwarves, which i saved from the empire, declare war on me because the jade kingdom was upset at me for SAVING THEIR TRADING PARTNER (THE DWARVES) FROM THE EMPIRE). Then when i win a super overpowerd full dragon stack high elf faction just sends hoards at me and i just quit at me because it felt like the game was punishing me for winning against the skaven and ONE empire faction that declared war on me.

I then tried the last defenders and it starts of better against the skaven outside of the god awful casualty replenishment rate. Then the dwarves declare war on me for no reason AND THEN SO DO THE ORCS, and due to how the ai heavily cheats with its economy they both send elite full stacks to attack me from top and bottom while i only have like one full stack and a tiny stack army.

I feel like i could take on the challenge if other order factions would stop randomly declaring war on me even though i fight all of their enemies and trade with some of their allies and only fight ONE of their allies (doesnt even apply to the last defenders playthrough) in defense of one of their trading partners. Makes 0 sense. LEt me take on the hoards of skaven and looting colonial explorers without every other continent and dwarf declaring war on me, or let me take on the skaven and orcs without dwarves getting pissed at me and just declaring war on me just cus.

If CA wants me to fight some order factions, fine, just shouldnt feel like theyll gladly ally with their mortal enemies lorewise just to gang up on the player. Have a tough time enough already fighting multiple full stack spam while the economy is still insanely slow only allowing me to have one mid tier unit stack.

I enjoy the battles but am not enjoying the diplomacy randomly ruining the entire save for me by having everyone declare war on me and attack me where i am not despite me trying my best not to aggro them. I feel like 3 kingdoms was easier and there you had to worry about executing and letting go the wrong people. Can someone tell me step by step how to avoid this? The only mods i have is recruit legendary lords and easier confederation, and i only confederated once after they already ganged up on me on my two tehenuin attempts. Can someone tell me what im doing wrong?
