Daniel = Superman?

I finished watching Stargate SG-1 and I re-watched the 2025 Superman recently. The similarities between Clark Kent and Daniel Jackson are so glaring, personality-wise, but also appearance-wise (blue eyes, glasses, and bulky). I think that Daniel is the Superman of the Stargate universe. He has the same love for humanity that Clark does. Has this ever occured to you? Or do you see another Stargate character as Superman?
