AMH increase(?) after excision surgery
My AMH last year was 4.2. A couple weeks before surgery, it was 4.0. Now, a month post-op, it’s 5.7.
I honestly expected it to decrease because I had endo removed close to my left ovary, and sometimes excision can temporarily lower AMH?
But I’m also not surprised it increased? Because the inflammation from endometriosis can also suppress a bit. So maybe excision allowed for a more accurate value? I know AMH is never going to be exactly the same month to month, but the increase seems significant to me, considering it was steady in the low 4s previously.
But has anyone else experienced this?
