Bird and Jim’s old fashioned major disappointment do not recommend

A friend and I went to Bird and Jim’s for an old fashioned and it was probably the WORST I’ve ever had. I never give bad reviews but the service and the drink itself were negative 5 stars. They charged us 25 each for a couple shots of whiskey in a glass. I would be fine with the price if it would have been a quality cocktail. They add smoke to it and while the bar tender was making our drinks, rather than presenting in front of us, he was engaging with the customers to our left as if they had ordered these drinks. He didn’t even say as much as hi to us. Didn’t even check to see if we needed anything else. It was my friends bday so we thought we were going to have a special tasty drink and originally her being from the Wisconsin area (the old fashioned capitol of the world) who now lives in the area, we were highly disappointed. The manager sucks and the staff was not engaged at all with customers. Highly recommend taking your business elsewhere if you’re in Estes. Any recommendations to get a quality drink here? Thanks!
