Please!? help me, I’m experiencing auditory hallucinations..

A week ago, I bought a baby chick , But two days after bringing it home, I started experiencing auditory hallucinations of chick sounds inside my head , i cried. I know the sound isn’t real, but it’s very disturbing and puts a lot of pressure on my nerves and mental state. It gets stronger with noise and weaker when it’s quiet. I’ve decided to give the chick away to someone else. What can I do to stop the sounds? Will they stop once I get rid of the chick?
