how should i do this?

hi everyone.

i really want my life back. i want it to go back to how it was before covid. i used to actually see people.

now i ignore messages for days, weeks, even months. i feel so anxious all the time. my brain is just full of rot, stupid politics, and not much else. i haven't been a good friend, sister, or daughter in a very long time.

i feel hurt and angry that my generation acted as guinea pigs for the tech world. we had internet access way too young. and i want my future children to never have to go through this.

what makes it so much worse... im a (failing) occupational therapy student. my career revolves around doing. im such a hypocrite. i can't even follow the same advice i give others. and im failing my degree thanks to internet addiction, my adhd & depression, and the introduction of ai.

every single day since 2022 has just felt like a blur to me. i do nothing. i see no one. ever since i stopped drinking (which i needed to do), it feels even harder to plan around my social life.

i havent worked in ages, just living off my parents and my student loans. im 23, my best mate from school just had a baby, and i feel utterly broken.

i desperately want to disconnect from my various addictions. i want to throw my xbox away. i want to get a nokia brick. i want to get an ipod shuffle. i want to get a family home computer. i want to stop smoking weed and vaping for hours on end, scrolling away my early twenties.

i simply cannot cope with all of this tech. but i don't know how i will function without it.

what i need in order to study/work is: -a laptop computer (i have an acer swift) -a phone capable of installing microsoft authenticator and the nhs app -possibly a phone with a camera

to contact friends, realistically all i need is phone numbers. and i need music.

can anyone recommened how i can go about getting clean in this way? i feel like i ought to know, with my degree n all, but i don't.

sorry if this seems slightly all over the place. i am kind of losing my mind slightly.

can anyone help?
