[actives] My oat jars keep stalling, without contamination- no soak no simmer

Hey ya'll does anyone use this method as a staples?

I'm keen to figure it out.

So far ive gone for 40-60-80% hydration with varying results. But in all cases they seem to stall growth at about the 1 week mark and oats just remain uncolonised.

How much water are you guys putting into your jars? And is sterilised (PC) tap water sufficient or does it have to be distilled.

Ive checked out the shroomery and answers are very vague.
