AWDTSG- toxic bashing or legit?

I matched with a guy a few days ago. We had a phone call after a couple days and I’m like damn I really like this guy. Well…I looked him up on those Facebook groups “are we dating the same guy” in 3 different cities near by. There is a guy who looks similar to him that has the same name, and I saw a comment or two confusing him for the other guy. But there were several anonymous comments about him not wanting anything serious, him being a narcissist, hooking up with girls all over the state, two claimed to be within the last month. So I told him that I had been told these things and didn’t provide a source. It contradicted him telling me he wanted something real and had to have connections with people to have sex with them. I approached this convo as maturely as possible. I’ve given up on arguing or trying to teach men how to behave. His explanation was “yes I did stupid things, some of these women were really persistent but it was dumb. But I’ve always been honest about my intentions” and basically that the women were being spiteful. I just didn’t respond. He tried to call me the next day and said he wanted to talk about things.
