I am trying to figure out what the best concentrate or whatever to add to my hard candy recipe that won't change it drastically but will be effective

I don't want to add a ton of oil like butter or something cause it might change the consistency or flavor while not giving a high enough dose. The recipe requires stuff to be added in when it's about 300° and then cools after that so it would have to be able to handle that without burning away
