MArch with a technical portfolio - any chance?

Hi everyone, I’m preparing to apply for MArch programs, mainly in Australia, and feeling a bit anxious. My academic background is in structural engineering, but all of my professional and research experience has been in architecture. The problem is that my portfolio is mostly technical and practice-based, without many creative design projects. Do you think this could hurt my chances, or can strong technical and research experience still make up for it?
