Sony a6700 | lens not auto-focus compatible?

Recently purchased a new Sony a6700 and a used Sony E 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 OSS Autofocus APS-C Lens for E-Mount {67} SEL18200 lens. When I power on the camera, it's automatically set to manual focus. If I go into the focus menu and try to change it to auto-focus, I get a message saying, "The lens is not attached correctly or not supported." Pretty sure the lens is attached correctly. Is there a setting somewhere else in the camera I need to adjust or is auto-focus not available with this lens on this camera?
