Why don’t y’all wear height boosting soles like women wear makeup?

I’m asking this as a girl cause if I’m interested in a guy I’ll always wear makeup around them, but once I know the guy loves me and we’re dating, I’m able to be around him with no makeup and he wouldn’t mind cause he already loves me. Why don’t guys who are 5’6-5’7 just wear height boosting soles to get em up to 5’9-5’10 and kinda just fess up once you’re officially dating the girl? If she really loves you she won’t mind. It’s just like makeup.

And don’t say “women only want guys 6ft tall!” because that just isn’t true, I know a plethora of individuals under 6ft who have successful dating lives and as a matter of fact my boyfriend is 5’5. I just think this might solve the whole “dating as a short man” issue y’all speak about, so I’m just wondering why more people aren’t doing it, and if theres maybe a flaw in my way of thinking.
