I chickened out of a spell, and I'm not sure if it was the right choice.
Last Friday I cast a very generalized love spell to nurture my friendships, but originally, it was focused on a single friend with the intent to create more opportunities for us to hang out. I had the entire spell figured out, prepped everything days in advance, drafted and proofread the chant so it was a specific as possible, I had it set for the Friday before the blood moon, and I did tarot and pendulum readings nearly every day leading up just to be certain I was on the right track. Then the day came and the readings were very different from before. I was getting almost entirely positive answers in the days prior, and while the new readings I got weren't necessarily bad, they definitely weren't indicating the results I wanted. I didn't feel right casting it anymore, but I didn't want to waste the timing and energy charged up, so I erased all taglocks, re-cleansed, and changed it to the new spell.
I haven't seen any noticeable results yet, but I can't shake the feeling that I might have actually been more successful with the original spell, and my self doubt got in the way. In addition, now I'm worried this spell won't do anything because of how nervous I was about the og spell!
