Nursing Bolivia and USA

Hi, I have a question. I was wondering if you study in Bolivia and get a bachelors degree in nursing if you are able to bring that degree back to the US and use it. I am from the US and I have a friend wondering if it would be possible to do this, I know that there’s a lot of people that study in other countries and then bring their degree back to their home country because it’s cheaper to study internationally depending on where you’re from. I’ve had people told me that it isn’t possible, to do this in Bolivia because the degree just won’t be validated in another country, but I’ve also had a handful of people. Tell me that if you go to a public school and you get a bachelors degree in nursing that it will work in the US, once you go through the process of validating the degree. But if you go to a private school it won’t work . If someone knows how to go about this process because I know that there are websites and people that could help you with this, please give me details . Thank you
