M4 MBP mouse click suddenly stops working

Don’t worry, I’m not here for another question asking “is ____ Mac worth it?” I’ve run into a repeated issue lately with my M4 MBP. While working on it for awhile, the mouse clicking ability completely stops working.

I use a Logitech MX master 3 with my Mac in clamshell mode, and all of the other buttons/functions of the mouse will continue to work, just not right or left click. Even when I turn the mouse off and try the trackpad it’s the same story, can do all of the gestures and scrolling but left and right click will not respond. Only thing i can do to get it started again is to restart my Mac which is a major PITA to constantly have to do. Still on sequoia 15.6.1, so it’s not like it’s an upgrade related issue. Unsure how to fix this and if anyone else had the same problem
