Gameplay ideas.

I've mostly only ever played base game with university and open for business. I found seasons, pets, and bon voyage at a charity shop recently and that opened my mind to the other options I was too poor as a child to afford when they were new. It was a revelation! Anyway, since then I have been on a mission and decided to get the full package and indulge my inner child!

Thing is all this additional gameplay all at once has made me like a kid in a sweet shop, I don't know where to start.

So my question is, what would you do? What are your favourite ways to play the game? Which expansion packs do you get most fun out of playing? Where would you start if you were starting anew? The world is literally my oyster and I don't know where to start, although I'm pretty sure a Murphy bed is going to be involved soon enough as I've heard all about them over the years.
