positive MA experience

hello all, i had my first MA abortion last night at 4 weeks and it was surprisingly very easy. i was getting pretty scared reading all the horrible painful stories on here, so i thought i’d post to maybe put someone’s mind at ease a little bit.

i took 800mg ibuprofen and then 4 misoprostol pills vaginally at around 8ish last night (took mife about 30 hours earlier). didnt take them orally bc I didn’t want to vomit and it worked- no nausea.

after 30-45ish minutes, I started getting some mild-moderate cramping. kept waiting for it to get worse, but it didn’t- it was honestly less painful than period cramps for me, and I don’t think I get super bad periods (usually 800mg ibuprofen makes the cramps go away)

i started passing big clots about 2-3 hours in, and then i just had to change my pad consistently. went to sleep, woke up a few times in the night to change pad again, and cramping was mostly gone when i got up in the morning.

so it’s possible to have an ok experience! prob because i caught it early. i feel fine today, not fatigued or anything. so much blood though… pretty insane. went thru like 6 maxi pads in 12 hours.
