Ruthless boys of the zodiac

I decided to start reading ruthless boys despite the fact I’m not the biggest fan of reverse harems so this frustration and irritation is completely my own fault. But I just read Never Keep and Echo Fort and I missed this world and magic system I thought that reading this would give me the fix I was looking for.

Okay warning, I am 25% through the fourth book in the series and I just need to vent.

• Elise is my least favorite fmc I have ever read. She has said multiple times throughout the series that she doesn’t just date one person. Which all the power to her if that’s what she wants that’s great. What gets me is she gets super jealous and possessive over the guys if a girl gets close to the one of the guys. Saying “my man”. Then gets pissed off at the guys when they are jealous of each other saying to them“ I never said I would be with only one person” “quit trying to put me in a cage” “ you can only be with me if you accept I’m with them too” it’s messed up
• Leon and Elise had their mate and I’m so infuriated with them. She upset that the others don’t want to be around her because she litterally destroyed their hearts and she acts like she has the right to be with them anyways. She wants to continue like she doesn’t have mate. ( I know she mates them all in the end) but can you imagine being asked to hang out with the girl you love and believe that she will never be yours fully like she is with Leon.
• I liked Leon until this book and it’s pissing me off that he is flaunting his mate bond to the others and hurting them even more. -I hurt for Ryder and Gabriel the most. Ryder finally found something out of the gang life that mattered and felt something more than just pain and lust and they shattered that for him. I hurt for Gabriel the most atleast Ryder had the brotherhood to immerse themself back into while Gabriel has no one. How cruel was it for the stars to show that elise was his mate only for him to watch her have her Devine moment with Leon right in front of him. I feel he would have been better off if he would have never known they were going to be mates so he could organically come to accept her for who she is. But also she also is a bitch to him more times than not even when he is just looking out for her.
• I know that by the end of the book 5 they are gonna accept each other and everything obviously from reading ZA. I really hope she does a lot groveling and begging. How unfair was it that she spent the whole summer sleeping with Leon every night getting to be happy (even though she said when she was alone she missed the other kings) meanwhile the other kings where left to be miserable and couldn’t even sleep with anyone else. I honestly hope that they beat up Leon too he kind of deserves it.

I don’t know I feel like all of the boys are being forced into accept Elise wishes of sharing except and Leon and maybe Dante. Even Ryder seems more okay with sharing than Gabriel.

I’ve only read a a few reverse harems and like I said they are not my favorite but it’s never felt so forced for all the guys before. Did anyone else feel like this? Does it end in way that isn’t going to piss me off and feel like all the guys just caved into Elise’s wishes?
