I need help with headphones

🎧 Sensory Issues

This is more of a rant/call for help than just looking for noise cancelling headphone recommendations.

So, almost two years ago I bought the noise cancelling Sony Xm5, they helped me a lot with my sensory issues around loud noise. But then they got a problem I couldn't find a way to get fixed. This alone caused me multiple breakdowns and a ton of energy (finding repair places, calling, etc)

So I bought a new pair, this one had a defect after 1 day, returned and refunded.

I tried again and they had the same defect in 2 weeks. Returned for repair, no update on that one yet.

This caused me another breakdown.

Then I decided I had enough of Sony and bought the Bose Quiet comfort ultra. I was overwhelmed by how different they felt from what I was used to but was happy I actually had headphones that worked.

But just now they showed the same problem the sony's had, but on the left side instead of the right. (A clicking/rattling sound inside the ear cuff when moving)

I'm so tired and can't stop crying. Everything is so loud and I hate it. I hate that I need to do so much to accommodate myself. I just want headphones that actually work and block out noise.
