How is the performance on pc right now?

I jumped on the first day, I was unable to play it above 30-40 fps regardless of the settings with the software lumen, so I just quit and I'm still waiting on a proper performance patch. So has this game's performance improved or is it still a ue5 dogshit like it was at launch.
