Does any one else want a remake of dq9?

It was my first dragon quest, and it made me fall in love with the series. I saw somewhere once that there was talks of a remake coming to switch, and got really excited, but I've seen neither hide nor hair of it since. Sorry for the terrible grammar, English is my first language, I'm just terrible at it.
