Candida Parapilosis

Hey everyone. I’m a 25yr old girl, looking for women who’ve experienced any of this. Looking for personal experiences and recommendations.

I’m currently under treatment for Chronic Pelvic Pain, on my 6th month of Depo-Provera. Suspected Endometriosis or Adenomyosis. Everything was fine last week. But suddenly, I woke up with severe back pain, stomach pain, and light bleeding. Unable to stay awake for a full day due to extreme fatigue. None of the pain responded to ibuprofen. I associated this with my history of debilitating periods, as these used to make it so painful I couldn’t even stand up straight. I don’t have any vaginal symptoms aside from shooting pain.

I went to my GYN, she ran some tests. She prescribed Toradol for the pain. My results came in, positive for Candida Parapsilosis.

I have questions. To any woman who’s had this; Were you symptomatic, if so, how? How will my doctor address this? Could this somehow be related to a rash I have all over my abdomen, chest, arms, and stomach? Painless, doesn’t itch. I’ve had this rash before, took topical and oral medication. Keeps coming back. But never this widespread.

Thanks in advance. I feel overall horrible most days and really need answers.
