Making a German chocolate cake for my girlfriend but she wants it no nuts or coconut, is that just a chocolate cake?

So she wants a German chocolate cake, but without the almonds or pecans or the coconut, she says "i just want german cake and frosting" do i just bake a german chocolate cake(is that just a chocolate cake)and dont add the nuts or coconut? Or is she talking about something i dont know about? Help me out
