Needle EEG - pains/discomfort after?

Question

Hi! So I’m not diagnosed, trying to figure it out actively, but I’ll try to be short because my brain truly just can not rn.

I had my first EEG today (about like 16 hours ago I think), I don’t live in an English speaking country to know the exact words for any of the technical stuff so excuse that lmao. It was short, they said it’ll be 20 minutes but I came out of the room about an hour after I entered so, there’s that idk if this is important, the test was the one where I lay down, first do the, eyes opening & closing an drzen trough out the whole rest of the test theyre closed, the second thing was needed UMG to take big breaths & then the last were tge lights. After the test I felt, not good, like I had to sit on there for a few minutes maybe & even after it took a while to be able to function regularly (for my standards). The uh, head connecting gear was the cap, but where they also have to attach the needles into ur scalp, that was a little painful but I have dermatitis so no surprise there. Now, my head hurts like HELL, like it did then right after as well, right in the front of my love but I thought that was just from the pressure of cap, but HWO it’s been way longer & still does, especially when I try to, like now, use my brain & write/text people I just like need to take a break & just put my head down it’s quite bad, & not a regular headache or migraine I get, so I’m just frustrated at what & why¿ is this normal for needle EEGs cuz form what I Ive read it’s not for non needle ones I’ll reply to more specific questions in comments if needed I am in too much pain to continue I’m so sorry & thank you in advance, sorry for a ramble lol!
