Canada Work Permit Extension

Hi everyone,

I need an advise along with some information for my work permit which is expiring this December. I have a good NOC B job in tourism sector and my employer is very helpful and happy to provide documentation for my work permit extension.

My main question is do I need to go through the LMIA process for extending the work permit OR of I can do it without LMIA? And what kind of Visa I will get after that OPEN or CLOSE? Also, I live with my spouse here so will she also get SOWP extended for the same amount of time? How many years visa will I get after this?

Can someone please help me with the above questions!
