Run on/burn on byb

Byb always burns on after grilling say 400+ takeaway ataround an hour silencing on low to get it to be safe enough to turn to final fan shutdown. Otherwise it will burn on. Cleaned all top vents and firepot before this last event. Anyone have similar or a fix? Ty
