Matchmaking bugged?

PS5. Returning to this game after a longish break. I was able to get into 1 match made game - but since then I haven't been able to join any games at all. Quickplay just sits searching forever, and trying to join a mission in progress fails to join the lobby every time. When I put down an SOS beacon, no one joins. I've tried restarting and turning off/on crossplay, any other fixes?
