First of all, I have nothing against Noel or anyone promoting products on TikTok or anywhere else, I believe there’s good information and there is a lot of truth in their information.

———————————————————————
I first noticed this strategy when Khadlaj Island Dreams was being promoted, specifically by Noel on TikTok. It’s a pretty good dupe of Louis Vuitton Symphony. So what’s the problem?

People who’ve known Noel for a long time know that he’s been talking about khadlaj products and Rayhaan products long before Islamd dreams, or even Island came out. Maybe the link is BeautyHouse, who is closely partnered with Khadlaj and Rayhaan? Or a different link between Noel and those companies. This context is important to connect the dots.

The first video Noel made about LV symphony, he immediately said, “my new favorite fragrance” right after the unboxing. Nothing wrong with that, it does smell good. But Noel is a big collector, he himself knows symphony is not worth the price, for being so basic, both cheap and other expensive colognes replicate the smell, even better a lot of times. So what’s does Noel do? He changes the narrative and marks symphony down as and exclusive fragrance, one that only a lucky few can have.

Why?
Because he was already in talks with Khadlaj about them making a clone of it. Noel set the stage for Symphony, so that Island dreams can show up, and say “oh remember that super exclusive and expensive LV cologne? Well now you can get it for much cheaper”. The “exclusive” narrative is very important here because anyone who smelt Symphony and has a trained nose, knows that DNA is nothing special.

Noel did not stop there. Late 2024 Noel was at the BeautyHouse warehouse (remember the links between BeautyHouse and khadlaj/rayhaan).
While inside, he made a video about a Lorenzo pazzaglia Fragrance called “summer hammer”. It’s a fragrance house that’s pretty much never talked about, it’s niche, expensive. But what does Noel call the fragrance? “The most hyped fragrance”. But even the top comments called him out here. “No one knows what that is”, says the top comment.

But why?
The past two weeks, Noel, Fragrance knowledge, and a few other of their friends have been mentioning Summer hammer a lot, in conjunction with “the amazing new unreleased fragrance from Rayhaan” take a guess of what this new fragrance clones. Summer hammer.
I called Noel out on this, and he deleted the comment even though it had the most likes.

These tactics are good, and we fragrance lovers need to be careful. Make smart buy, and DYOR!

I plead everyone to read this full post, because it’s your money that you’ll spend, and you should but things that are actually what you want.
