Test

Unfortunately, I failed APK inspection this week due to pretty minor issues. If I'm honest, I think it was quite a bullshit diagnosis/inspection. (I've already fixed a few things myself, new wipers inbound)

-- APK list: - ball joint cover does not seal (false) - Exhaust pipe leaking connection front side catalytic convertor - No rear foglight (My Miata is from 1996... so doesn't require one (front or back), stated in NL RDW rules/info) - Headlight L height adjuster broken (FIXED) - Wipers leaving behind stripes (FIXED) - adjust Headlight L (FIXED)

The fixed issues were pretty easy to fix, took me a few hours. I still have to examine the exhaust myself, waiting for blocks to lift my car onto. I did however examine all ball joint covers, and everything else behind the tyres. I could not see any cracks, tears or possible things that could prevent a proper seal.

Also fixed the broken headlight L adjuster + having to adjust headlight L, I don't know if I done a good job with adjusting headlight L (driver side) as it's my first time, I simply tried to line it up with headlight R (passenger side), see the results in the first img.

On the bright side, I have been learning a lot from my Miata, which is why I originally bought it as my first car - to learn and practise car mechanic stuff. Outside of this, I have made a roadmap to creating my dream Miata NA, see below.

-- To Fix & Restore: - Replace Wipers - Adjust headlights (if failed to do myself) - fix exhaust pipe leak

- fix leaking roof (light drips)
- fix leaking trunk (possibly light drips/saw a small puddle after rain)
- create own heat shield for cold air intake (previous owner didn't add one)
- clear rust trunk + left threshhold (only places that have rust on the car)

- New seats + seat belts (race maybe)
