Help, do I “need” a tune?

Of course I don’t truly need one…but on the side of mpg, power, shift points and all that. Never owned a diesel, so trying to figure out what to do.

I’ve got an ‘02 7.3 272k; with an edge evolution tuner. Just got the truck. Heard bad things about that edge too.

It’ll be my work truck, hauling trailers and daily driving mostly while doing that.

Keep that tune, go stock or get a different tune?
