Sub vs dub is stupid

With the new Demon slayer movie I’m seeing a lot of people ragging on the dub and I’m just here to say that sub vs dub is a stupid debate and both are equally as important

Idk if it’s just engrained in anime fans brains to hate the dub but honestly the dub is so much more important that people realize.

1. English VA are often undervalued for their work and a lot of them put a lot of passion into their work. Kaji tang has spoken out about how little VA actually make. The English VA often contribute to an Annie gaining popularity because some people don’t wanna watch the sub. Plus English voice actors are genuinely some of the nicest people I’ve ever met

2. The dub is really important because it makes anime accessible to everyone who wants to enjoy it. Anime is for everyone and anyone who wants to enjoy it. The dub is important for people with vision issues, hearing issues, even learning disabilities like dyslexia. Some people are not simply fast readers and that totally fine

Bottom line like what what you like but don’t go shaming others for simply choosing to enjoy an anime in a certain way
