Accidentally went a little viral, feeling like a one trick pony
I've been posting occaisionally for the past year and a half just as a photo journal for my denim collection. I had a post pop off randomly, which turned a 5 person kickback into a 100+ person meetup within a few days. Currently at like 6.5k likes and 250k views after two weeks.
I make good money at my job, so it's not a huge concern for me to make this my main thing. I was totally fine with it being a "five minutes of fame" deal, but I've been posting consistently so as not to let the momentum go to waste.
I posted a couple reels that were more tailored to my denim collection (two posts at ~100 likes in about a week), but people really just want to see what is effectively a rerun of my first post that blew up. (Newest post at ~5k likes over the past 3 days) I'm actually already committed to continuing the year-long challenge as it's for a competition I've been waiting two years for.
Is there any merit to trying different styles or should I just keep giving the people what they want? It feels a bit hack but seems easier and more likely to add growth. If you want to see the posts, my IG is linked in my profile. I have no interest on doing self promo on Reddit.
